Michael Rubner
Prof. Michael F. Rubner is currently the TDK Professor of Polymer Materials Science and Engineering within the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at MIT.

CMSE Director
He directs MIT’s Center for Materials Science and Engineering (CMSE), which fosters interdisciplinary research and offers a variety of educational outreach projects.

Rubner Group
The research of Professor Rubner's group is focused on the design, fabrication and properties of ultra-thin films of polymers for electrical, optical, and biomaterial applications.
